About 10 percent of the world's population, 760 million people, are hungry, yet one-third of the world's food production is discarded, amounting to a waste of about 1.3 billion tons of food worth about NT$21 trillion a year.
Therefore, we hope to start self-control from the source at the consumer's end, and integrate barcode systems with regional supermarket chains and mass merchandisers, so that we can directly import ingredient information into the APP at the checkout to remind the expiration date and expiration date of ingredients to reduce food waste due to expiration.
