Applying infrared sensing technology and air holographic projection, the elevator keyboard buttons can be ‘touched’ without any physical contact with the elevator. When uses standing directly in front of the keyboard, the floor information and virtual buttons will be displayed. Then they could use their finger to input various commands like floor number, and such information will be picked up by infrared sensors and executed by the elevator. This will help to provide a safer and more hygienic public place. Not only to response to the COVID-19 situation, but also the possible hygiene problems in the future.
