Drinking hot healthily / Cup

Drinking hot healthily
Drinking hot healthily

The WHO lists hot drinks above 65 °C as type 2A carcinogens. Exceeding this temperature, whether it’s tea or milk, there is a risk of esophageal cancer. But many people in China, Turkey and South America usually drink water, coffee or tea above 65 °C, increasing the risk of esophageal cancer three times. Most residents in Linxian County of Henan (China) even like to swallow hot food at 80 to 88 °C, causing the prevalence of esophageal cancer rank among the highest in the world. So we better wait for it to cool before drinking. This cup is the solution: silicone spikes on it will stick out when it is too hot, which can remind us not to drink.
