Insect Relight

Insect Relight is a new product targeting Insect killing power generation. In 2015 214 million people across the world were infected with malaria leading to about 430 000 deaths. We hope to kill mosquitoes and generate power in the meantime. Insect Relight is equipped with a microbial fuel cell inside, which converts chemical energy into electric energy by applying microbes as a catalyst. After meeting with the pests, the microbial fuel cells would disintegrate them, during which electrons and hydrogen ions are produced. Electrons flow in the external circuit and finally meet hydrogen ions so as to generate power to drive the LED lamp.
