HSL / Wearable devices designed for people with epilepsy

HSL
HSL

Epilepsy may occur at any time and in any occasion. The ABFE incorporates a heart rate detector which, by detecting the carotid artery, is able to open the airbag in the event of an epileptic seizure, preventing injury from the shock. The asymmetrical design of the airbag allows the patient's airway to be open instead of choking due to secretions blocking the airway. At the same time, ABFE will send a signal to the rescue team to give the most timely assistance. Today, epilepsy prediction techniques are well established and papers relating to them are available.
