Sugar Forest / Food Experience Design

Sugar Forest
Sugar Forest

Sugar is necessary energy for human-being, while excessive sugar intake causes many health problems. We propose by using the power of design, sugar consumption could be less harmful and more pleasurable. Sugar Forest offers a rich sensual tasting experience allowing people to eat slowly and healthily. Sugar and cotton fiber is woven into an edible room. While in the forest, the tasters could pick sugar from sweet branches, enjoying the natural and unique moment. This project blurs the boundary of food, utensil, and dining space, proposing a more engaging eating experience and closer relationship between eaters.
