Water Lantern / Product

Water Lantern

In regions where water is scarce, the residents get water from raw or polluted underground water, which is full of bacteria and will lead to severe diseases. The residents need a simple, low-cost device to collect and provide cleaner water for them.

The water lantern consists of a wooden cage which can be hung on the trees or buildings, a mesh netting which made from water absorption material, a catchment funnel and a water tank. The mesh netting can harvest moisture from the air. When condensation effect happens, the drops of water will fall into the catchment funnel and then be collected by the water tank.
