Monica Bhyrappa / Vessel washing aid

Monica Bhyrappa
Monica Bhyrappa

- Washing dishes optimally needs one hand for holding the dish and another for scrubbing. The problem area arises where there is no support for holding the dishes in place for one handed users. Thus, the task needs assistance or is poorly executed. QUE is an assistive device which acts as support to the vessel while scrubbing, making the task executable by the users without assistance. It is an adaptable design where it can be attached to any flat surface considering the rural users in India. Besides making the task easier, QUE increases the independency and self esteem of the users. Attachment, detachment is single handedly executable.
