Proyecto Chobi / Urban Biodiversity Nodes - Native flora containers

Proyecto Chobi
Proyecto Chobi

Proyecto Chobi was born from the exercise of designing not only for human beings, but for living beings. The city of buenos Aires has many natural reserves around it, but there is little connection between them, which makes it hard for native species to move from one to another. Proyecto Chobi consists of biodiversity nodes, which are composed by modules which can be organised in different ways according to the site where it is placed. They harbour native flora and fauna, increasing biodiversity in urban areas. They are meant to help conserve wildlife and adapt human developments such as cities to cohabit with local flora and fauna.
