SymbioCare / Newborn care furniture

A modular system for neonatal care that emphasizes the role of care as an activity that stimulates the senses of the child. The solution improves the safety of the new-born.The project pays attention to improving the midwife’s work organization and her working posture. Observations of caregivers’ work in neonatal wards have shown that they often adopt an incorrect body posture during new-born washing. It was caused by too low placed bath. The conclusions became the guidelines for designing a innovative solution. The system can be adapted to different types of spaces -consisting of three modules and complementary elements.
