In rural areas of Africa, many students do not have the conditions to study at night due to inadequate electricity facilities. A light-jump rope can be used as a chandelier or flashlight as well as a normal jump rope for exercise. Students jump rope to turn a small generator in their hands to store kinetic energy into electricity, which can be used at night.
