DIS-pack / Sustainable backpack concept

The DIS-pack is a product that focuses not only on aesthetic performances but holistic strategies considering consumer behaviour, circular product life cycles and sustainable materials. The ability to disassemble the backpack into its initial parts in an easy way opens up for possibilities to prolong the products life span such as repairing, replacing, upgrading, recycling and proper discarding. Using mono-materials (made by only one single type of material) for the initial components encourages a more sustainable way of processing such as e.g. the recyclability of synthetic or the compostability of biodegradable materials.
