Decomposition Drain / Road drainage system

Decomposition Drain

The impact of microplastic is much more direct than we expected. The microplastic coming from the vehicle driving on the road can directly lead to the death of salmon swim nearby. It not only pose threat to fish at the local area but also has a profound influence on the food chain related to these species. The design of the Decomposition Drain proposes a new way to purify the city water before it flows into the natural environment. It contains a changeable catalyst core which can decompose the microplastics into harmless particles and it can be changed with different catalysts to according specific needs.
