Aves / Passenger Drone


Aves is an electrical passenger drone concept for future public transportation in cities. The purposes of introducing urban air mobility are to tackle the congestions of ground traffic, to reduce air pollution, and to provide people with a convenient and comfortable way of commuting. However, one of the biggest challenges is how to make passenger drones (mentally and at a safety level) accepted by users. Aves aims to bring in the passenger drone as an intelligent "bird" that quickly avoids obstacles and can flexibly land in the city without disturbing others. The Aves concept consists of the drone, the landing infrastructure, and the service.
