In Korea, many migrant workers do not avail of medical services despite paying for National Health Insurance. It can be confusing which department to go to. Finding a hospital on their day off is also not easy. The greatest obstacles are the language barrier and the cost. Workers may experience difficulty explaining physical conditions and are unsure of costs. Arum is a communication app designed to solve this problem. The user can explain symptoms using graphics and predict deductibles based on data. Also, it tells the user which hospitals are available on a given date. With Arum, users can easily access the hospital and stay healthy.
