Discipline: Packaging

"Dajiang" means "master" in Chinese, and is also a Chinese liquor named after the tradition of master brewers. These revered artisans evoke associations such as "less is more" and "still water runs deep," which were used as the leitmotif for this packaging design. The bottle is sculpturally embossed with flowing water lines. The product name is quiet in comparison, letting the simple form of the bottle speak louder for the product, like flowing water, full of quiet power. The bottles come in two different colors to distinguish between the two price points of this liquor, a solution that helped keep production costs lower.
