The global pandemic requires restrictive action to be applied to every individual who got infected. By quarantining people’s bodies we might stop the biological infection, yet we cannot prevent mental duress. Feel’o is an emotion-care product for patients in quarantine. It approaches the user in a friendly manner, represented with the facial expression of a robot. It enables users to record their own emotions daily and displays physically inside their wards in a form of an e-ink display frame. Feel’o can create a sense of connection between patients in quarantine by sharing their emotional state in the same hospital quarters.
