The design allows a lot of natural light into the indoor space, using the large windows to incorporate the pleasant sunlight of Nantou Puli, and combining the water, nature and landscape of the environment. The designers sought to blur the interface between indoors and outdoors, so that sitting indoors people face the greenery outside the window; and standing outdoors they can observe the social activities of the indoor crowd.
