Solar Media / Solar lighting equipment packaging

SolarMedia equips solar-energized lighting facilities in Africa and other underdeveloped areas with no electricity. The designers were tasked with designing product packaging that would allow the reuse of all package sizes after the product has been unboxed. The packaging includes pre-cut and corrugated paper that folds into clothes hangers. The box itself easily converts to a drawer. The outer packaging contains 6 boxes inside that transforms into a durable closet, cabinets, or any storage space. This design offers both a clever way to reuse packaging while also helping elevate the lives of people living in poverty-stricken areas.
