Kaanthi / Fighting electrical fatalities

Every hour someone in India dies because of an electrical accident. Most of such accidents are reported in rural areas specifically in farmer communities. Satya Illa,an electrical engineer started kaanthi, an organization that promotes electrical safety by providing training camps for farmers in rural villages so they understand the dangers of electricity and unnecessary deaths caused by electrical shocks are prevented. Also an activist for safe infrastructures, Satya and his team have already replaced more than 300 electrical starters in different agricultural fields which are safe, reliable& affordable than conventional ones.
