Diesel Engines Particulate Matter Emission Control / Retrofit Technology to capture Carbon soot

Diesel Engines Particulate Matter Emission Control
Diesel Engines Particulate Matter Emission Control

Every year, Air Pollution causes ~1.2 Million early deaths in India. Diesel Generators, often used as backup power sources, emit ~18% of the Particulate Matter(PM) in the ambient air. We have developed a novel device, Chakr Shield which can capture up to 90% of the PM along with CO emitted from the DG set. This captured PM is later converted into inks and paints, contributing to the circular economy. It enables people to breathe cleaner air, reducing the risk of cancers and lung diseases. So far, we have captured over 1000 Kgs of PM and purified ~4300 Billion Lts. of air. This is equivalent to the air breathed by ~7.5 Lakh people in a year.
