Male Participation / Women Empowerment

We have developed awareness workshops with Syrian refugee men to approach male participation in women's empowerment activities. These workshops are Acquintance and Trust Building, Violence: Empowering women for a Strong Family and Strong Generation, Parentage: Strong Mothers and Fathers! Strong Family, Women's Participation in the Workforce and Gender Equality. The workshops were developed with the volunteers, and structured on the basis of gender equality, by taking into consideration the cultural sensitivities. A series of workshops conducted by a moderator with interactive techniques in the native language of the participants was created.
