LAWUNA PROJECT / Detection of Pollutants

LAWUNA PROJECT
LAWUNA PROJECT

Sodzo Foundation is working on a project called LAWUNA whose major aim is to detect and monitor macro pollutants in real time using smart phones and drones with reliance on artificial intelligence technologies.

The organisation goal with the LAWUNA project is to detect pollutants on the shores of fresh water bodies through deployment of a fully functional mobile application and also use of drones that will collect data. This data will be analysed, mapped, and visualized in real time via an interactive dashboard to show the impact of solid waste pollutants on Lake Victoria in Uganda.
