Shakti Girls & Asli Boys / Gender Equality

Adolescents are vulnerable due to the threat of child marriage, sexual abuse, child labour and much more. As a part of Operation PeaceMaker of My Choices Foundation’s prevention program, The SuperSmart Shakti Girls Safety Network and Asli Champion Boys Safety Network prioritize the safety of adolescent girls and boys. This program focuses on helping adolescents: connecting them to peer network; supporting and empowering them to recognize risks, and developing strategies to resist marrying early, undertaking dangerous work and dropping out of school. We also provide access to safety services and help them articulate their aspirations.
