Co.r.ag.gio (Courage) / Urban agroecology

The Coraggio (courage in italian) project stemmed from the wave of a wider social mobilization aiming at favouring direct land access for the young generation and the public use of abandoned land.

Initiated in 2011, It provides community services: environmental and food education, multifunctional agriculture training, social agriculture programmes, supply of organic food to the city, restoration of land and green spaces to the usability of inhabitants and citizens. The project implemented has resulted in youth access to public land, counterbalancing land abandonment, environmental and landscape degradation through agroecological practices.
