OrtoMangione / 1th Community Supported Agriculture in Tuscany

Our activity deals with create a group of people self-producing their food. The Community Supported Agriculture we started last year is a coop where all resources (installation, equipment, labor and management costs) are provided by a group of people, who become co-producers. It is not a profit business, but a self-production food where each member can participate growing vegetables, taking care of the animals, organizing events. The sustainability is assured by a new social and economical model, where the usual distinction between the producer and consumer is overcome by sharing common goals between the members of the community.
