Water Use Equity / Water Abstraction in Mara

Water Allocation Plan through the use of mWater application was conducted by Lake Victoria Basin Water Board under the Ministry of Water in collaboration with IHE Delft and SWP the aim was to identify Water Users in the Mara Basin hence being able to compute the Water availability in the basin which in the long run played a vital role in equitably allocating water for different uses, control illegal abstractions and pollution of fresh water resources which are dwindling in number as days go by as a result of Population growth, Human activities and Climate change something which the communities a less aware of hence need for more awareness.
