LAND OF RIGHTS / education and rights

The project stems from the desire for political participation, socio-economic and cultural enhancement expressed within the afro descendant quilombolas communities, supporting their fight for rights, against racial and religious discrimination. To achieve this, partners carries out the construction of didactic materials that presents the history and richness of the communities, in support of the implementation of Law 10.639 governing the teaching of Afro-Brazilian history and culture in schools, still poorly known. Its inclusion among the compulsory teaching municipal bibliography, demonstrate the impact of this innovative action
