Nourishing Schools / Toolkit to help children tackle malnutrition

Nourishing Schools develops young changemakers aged between 9-14 years who can take charge of improving their own and their communities' nutrition. We provide toolkits to schools with games and activities for children between 4th to 9th grade. This helps children learn about nutrition and how they can improve it e.g. by managing school gardens to access nutritious foods. Over two cycles of using the toolkit, children solve problems in their schools and communities related to nutrition. We have rolled out the toolkit in over 200 schools in India and 10 schools in Nigeria, covering over 40,000 schoolchildren. Our impact report has more details.
