Support after the blast / psychological support

First aid is an approach to help people affected by an emergency, disaster or traumatic event. It includes the basic principles of support to promote natural recovery.

Support after the blast was created in response to the explosion in Beirut on 4 August 2020 and provides psychosocial support to 75 families and workers involved in building rehabilitation operations in communities affected by the explosion. Emphasis is placed on vulnerable and worst affected people, gender, age and disability mainstreaming.
