Murshidabad in West Bengal serves as one of the hubs for human trafficking in India. Some of these victims are lucky enough to be rescued but the huge stigma and discrimination combined with the lack of livelihood options makes them feel completely isolated and even vulnerable to retrafficking.
This program provides such young women with training and skills for digitally enhances livelihood options. The program also provides a safe space, counselling and takes these women on a journey to build self-empowerment, confidence and ultimately inclusion and respect from the entire community. 31 young lives have been transformed so far.
