This 3D surgical endoscope enables medical instruments to be inserted into the body through incisions.
Coordination between the surgeon and endoscope operator is vital to ensure that the target field of view is provided quickly and precisely.
Conventional systems sought to improve surgical efficiency and safety by using 3D images and a deflectable distal-tip mechanism, but such systems are complicated, have a long learning curve, and cause postural strain.
To overcome these limitations, we have adopted a design that facilitates more intuitive and accurate operations, is more comfortable to hold, and helps improve the quality of medical care.
