Clean water in slums / Tap water at home and improved hygiene

Eau et Vie (E&V) aims to sustainably improve the living conditions in the slums of developing countries, where more and more vulnerable families live. Excluded from public development policies, they live in unsanitary environments with poor access to essential services. E&V builds water networks in these areas to which it connects each household, and organizes hygiene awareness sessions (hand-washing, water use, menstrual hygiene) to sustainably preserve the families’ health. So far, E&V has reached 7,500 families in Bangladesh and the Philippines – who now have safe water directly at home through a tap – and is striving to reach more.
