OCT Hot Spring Town / Typeface, Signage, Urban Furniture

OCT Hot Spring Town, surrounded by hills and rivers, is a resort that features a simple and modern environment. With this background, we designed a set of 3D typefaces as the main element of the signage system. Featuring the strokes in shapes of sphere, cylinder or concave with a silver metal visual effect, the typefaces are still visual-friendly amidst the nature. Simple yet highly distinguish, they become the focus of the whole place, as well as the icons of the signage. Base on this concept, the interwoven slender column structure is applied to some of other signage and furniture design, echoing the simple yet unique feature of the place.
