Ring of the Cosmos / Installation Art Space

At the square of a Space Experience Hall, we designed a series of rings and semi-spheres.
The main one is a φ26m ring that casts through the whole space above the square. At each whole time, the fountain in the water will be on, forming another circle on the ground. At certain time of a year, the shadow of the ring will overlap with the bronze lines on the floor, i.e. the line marks the day when Armstrong landed on the moon. When the shadow of the ring passes the time scale on the payment, it’s like an ancient sundial. Altogether with the spheres around, this solar system – like installation series inspires the perception of the universe.
