SOAP design studio was commissioned to develop a new brand identity for the museum that would transform the perception of its folk museum into a history museum.The new museum identity needs to symbolize not only the city’s history and people in the past, but also its visions and people of today and the future. The studio’s design proposal is a connection of the past, present and future achieved through the folding and unfolding, images of museum initials, H and M. H and H selectively reflects and projects images of historical artifacts and exhibition activities, giving the museum an opportunity to be playful in their visual communications.
