This packaging design was created to attract a broad audience beyond the traditional target market. While the spirit is called "Army." a design that used weapons and references to the army would only appeal to select groups, and especially lose out on potential buyers around holidays and the New Year. So the designers took another approach, creating a label based on the ancient famous warhorse, Red Chitu, a nod to the military associations of the beverage, but one that also will attract a bigger swath of the population.
