LEAP is a first-ever, inexpensive, single-use endoscopic surgical device which allows a micro camera view inside veins and arteries at the bedside. It utilizes machine learning to optimize image quality, enabling real-time imaging during surgery, something that is not possible with today’s imaging techniques. This reduces patient exposure to x-ray radiation as pre-surgical imaging is not required. LEAP is single-use, thus reducing the risk of infection. The device is simple to and intuitive to use, and is compatible with current surgical practices and technologies enabling an unparalleled surgical experience.
