JVC EXOFIELD THEATER XP-EXT1 / Wireless Theater System

The XP-EXT1 is a headphone-based wireless theater system featuring JVC’s unique EXOFIELD; an out-of-head localization sound field processing technology that provides users with a 7.1.4-ch, three-dimensional sound field experience in the comfort of their own home, like they were in a movie & live theater, or stadium.
A microphone built into the headphone unit measures the individual characteristics of the way the user hears sound, and then extracts and generates matching data from the database in the dedicated smartphone app to create an optimal sound-field effect as if the user was listening with multi-channel speakers while using headphones.
