Project Baala is a social enterprise driven by an impact-driven partnership model to ensure delivery of its solution to menstruators at the last mile. Founded in 2016 to educate and empower women and girls about menstrual hygiene, Project Baala has benefitted over 175,000 menstruators in India, Nepal, South Africa and Tanzania. Addressing key accessibility issues related to menstrual health and hygiene management (MHHM) products and information, Project Baala has developed a comprehensive two-pronged solution:
1) Technically designed reusable sanitary napkin kit
2) Innovative and holistic menstrual awareness sessions to dispel misconceptions
