Little-I is a low cost, low energy wearable health monitor for neonates living in remote or low-resource areas. It discreetly enables the continuous monitoring of infant vital signs to prevent potential cases of hypothermia and infection before they become life-threatening.
By continuously monitoring infant temperature and oxygen saturation, Little-I eases the burden of infant monitoring for a user group that lack medical knowledge and understanding. Little-I’s simple user interface gets the attention of carers to prompt medical intervention, ultimately helping to reduce preventable infant deaths.
