Wayfinding system for Berlin Brandenburg Airport – set up to handle 50 million passengers a year. Combining function with identity, it forms a design bracket for the entire campus. Colour, font, pictograms, product design carry the identity into terminal buildings and outdoor area. A seamless, consistent chain of information allows passengers to proceed step by step, easy finding of the targets. The characteristic design feature is the dark red colour, based on the appearance of Berlin and Brandenburg. Lines that make up the letters and pictograms create graduated tones that create a hierarchy without having to introduce additional colour.
