Many front-line health workers have been infected since the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19. One of the most important causes of infection is the improper removal of personal protective equipment (PPE). To reduce the risk of infection, we designed a PPE removal assistance system that helps remove PPE correctly through a comprehensive system of voice prompts, video guidance, mirror assistance, motion recognition, and other features. Interaction with the system is contactless to avoid cross-infection and make the removal process faster and easier.
