Discipline: Packaging

The main idea behind this design is to depict one of the most important products in Chinese culture, namely the beverage of tea. A great many literary works and poems portray or pay tribute to tea. The outer package is a rectangle box that looks like a book. The graphics present a Chinese poem and the tea the box contains. Tea is most popular drink in Taiwan, with four major tea types being people's beverage of choice. This packaging concept draws from Chinese culture and introduces eight production processes of tea from Taiwan. The message behind the four traditional illustrations is that these teas will give the drinker both a taste of nature and a sense of the local color of the regions where the teas were planted.
