Solar well with depurating system in a village / Drinking water, reduction of infant mortality

Sambacounda is a small village in Senegal. In this area, climate change has caused the salt-intrusion phenomenon. the result of which is the contamination of groundwater. Being an area where there are no water networks, the only water available is that of contaminated wells. The result is high infant mortality and many water-related diseases. The project made it possible to build a well that, with an osmosis and uv system, sterilizes water with a solar system and supplies it highly purified, contributing to the improvement of public health.
