"Phases of Water" is located in the Building of Science, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan. Three phases of water are represented by geometric composition with 3 different materials. Solids create a focus at the entrance. Liquids, mostly composed of layered glass, is located on the axis between the remains of an ancient city wall and the library of the university, establishing an interface between past and present. Real water flows over and brings physical senses to experience the work. Gas, forming dynamic shapes with golden metal tubes, extends the sense of boundary between the city and the campus.
