Viewing the mountain, being attracted and walking in the forest. This interaction between people and scene was once familiar for residents in Taichung. This installation is to translate such interaction into the metaphor of the work. To represent the forest, we use bamboo from the middle of Taiwan, making both structural and metaphorical elements. People and natural scene were once attracted to each other, reviving such interaction is the very spirit of Satoyama.
