This animation film is from the LxU New Year Innovative Series, a series of works made by ourselves and for ourselves with innovative ideas or techniques. We started by asking ourselves a question: “what is the meaning of creating ads?”. The video answers that by creating ads we are creating the STARs for the newly born 2020 generation, because ads can be encouraging for kids and inspiring for adults. The truth and power that great ads have given us over time should be passed along to the next generation. Using simple visual symbols to convey information, we connected 14 classic ads that affect us the most together in the form of frame-by-frame animation, with complementary dialogue and music.
