Traditional Tile Patterns in Taiwan / book

This book collects four kinds of Taiwan's traditional tiles from the 1920s to the 1980s, recording and cataloging them according to the shapes and patterns of tiles.

The first part of the book contains the relevant history of tiles, the photos taken by the authors throughout Taiwan. The second part provides 100 featured tile patterns which were re-drawn and given pantone color guide by the authors. These tile patterns can be used freely for personal or commercial purposes with the credit to the book. The purpose is to continue the spirit and value of traditional tiles through the transforming and reproduction by different creators.
