To celebrate its 130th anniversary, Pui Ching Middle School in Hong Kong sought to renovate the library on campus. After being appointed, the architects had to work to a very tight schedule and limited budget to design and execute this library renovation project that redefined the function of a 21st-century library on campus while responding to various challenges of the existing site. The newly renovated library with 3,000 square feet was open for students’ use after just 5 months and received much positive feedback from students and teachers, marking it as a successful project in all aspects.
